7.3 Ban Jabo, Mae Hong Son

The Ban Jabo is a Lahu community some 900 metres above sea level in the North of Mae Hong Son province where visitors can enjoy various local activities such as trekking through the beautiful forest including the conservation area, see rotational farming, the pig pens and then climb up to a miracle ‘Coffin cave’. Exploring the prehistoric wood coffin which has remained in the cave for more than 2,000 years. Visitors can help to make a traditional Lahu instrument, sewing and cloth weaving while experiencing a traditional Lahu homestay with delicious Lahu foods.
