• Qatar Airways now flies into Krabi, opening up the destination as a multicentre holiday.
• Combine Krabi with Phuket, or nearby islands such as Koh Lanta or Phi Phi Island.
• Twin Krabi with Chiang Mai. There are direct flights between the two cities making a perfect ‘city, jungle, beach’ trip – the best of Thailand!
• In general, Krabi is very traveller-friendly, and the only things you really need are your passport and some money. Everything else can be bought at bargain prices in street shops, mini-marts and pharmacies.
